Weaver Avenue Project
The City of South El Monte has begun the resurfacing of residential street Weaver Avenue, between Central Avenue and Santa Anita Avenue. It is scheduled to be completed by tentatively June 2012.
The work includes:
- Repaving of street;
- Restoring of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and driveway entries;
- Repainting of street traffic markings;
- Fine-tuning of four manholes and water vales; and
- Installation of 16 trees with wells.
This is a Federally funded project using Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG).
