South El Monte Council Believes in Transparency

The South El Monte Council has directed staff to provide full online disclosure of the City Council and City Manager compensation.

The City Manager annual salary is $159,348.00, and includes monthly cell phone charges reimbursement.

For 2013, the City Council currently receives:
Monthly salary:  $695.83

For Calendar Year 2012 reportable IRS earnings:

Mayor Aguinaga                                $8724.96

Vice Mayor Garcia                             $8724.96

Councilmember Delgado                   $8724.96

Councilmember Gonzales                  $8724.96

Councilmember Ili                             $8724.96

In addition, City Officials receive reimbursement for actual and necessary travel expenses incurred in the performance of activities performed for the benefit of the City, and a monthly in-lieu-of auto allowance of $650.00, monthly cell phone charges reimbursement, and paid Health Insurance.  Additional information regarding travel reimbursement amounts will be posted shortly.
