Electronic Waste (E-Waste) is consumer electronic equipment that is no longer wanted. E-Waste can include computers, printers, televisions, VCRs, cell phones, fax machines, stereos, and electronic games. Electronics may contain lead, copper, and other heavy metals or potentially toxic substances.
It is illegal to dispose of e-waste with your regular trash disposal.
Electronics may contain Lead, Copper, and other heavy metals or potentially toxic substances. That's why it is critical to reduce e-waste by only buying what you need, reuse electronics that still work, and recycle electronics.
E-Waste and other hazardous waste may be recycled for FREE at any LA County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event, please call 1(888) CLEAN LA or click here for upcoming events.
Residents may recycle their e-waste for FREE at the City Yard. Please contact Alex Aguila at (626) 579-6540 Ext. 3200 or via email at email@example.com to schedule an appointment to drop off items for recycling. Business Waste and white goods (refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, or other large bulky items) are not accepted.
