The Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA) provides animal care and control services to our residents. SEAACA has five divisions all involved in the provision of animal care and control services. They are Patrol, Veterinarian Clinic, Kennel and Care Center, plus their Shelter Office Team. Funds received from dog licensing fees help the City continue to provide quality animal control services from SEAACA.

The BIG MEOW is a program sponsored by SEAACA with support of donors to provide No-Cost spay and neutering of owned outdoor cats. Pet owners can make an appointment now. The surgery clinics are made available on a limited basis to cat owners who live in the SEAACA service area.
When people spay or neuter their cats, there are many benefits for the cats and our communities:
- There are no more unwanted litters on cats crowding shelters every year
- A cat's behavior is improved after altering
- Altering has a positive impact on the general health of cats
Your participation in the BIG MEOW by altering your cat would be an important step in reducing the surplus cats in our community. In addition to the altering surgery, each cat will receive at no cost a microchip-so your cat has a permanent ID, Vaccines (FVRCP and Rabies), plus the first month of flea preventive treatment.
Call for an appointment today - first come first served: (562) 803-3301 Ext. 251.
(Tuesday—Friday 9:00 am—1:00 pm)
