Bring your bike and helmet and join the City Council on a fun 8-mile community bike ride around the City. The bike rides are designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, promote biking activities, and showcase South El Monte's bike-friendly trails and areas.
Bike rides are recommended for ages 10 years and older.
South El Monte bike rides are held monthly from April to September, on the first Saturday of each month; unless otherwise noted. See below for schedule.

Meet at 8:30 am at the South El Monte Community Center, 1530 Central Avenue. Depart at 9:00 a.m.
Light refreshments are provided during and after bike ride. 1 bike will be raffled at the conclusion of trip!
*In the event of rain, bike ride will be cancelled.

Please note: California law requires anyone under the age of 18 to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle on a street, bikeway or public bicycle path or trail. This includes children who are sitting in restraining seats or are being towed in a trailer behind the bicycle. (CAVC21212)
