Military Recognition Programs

The City of South El Monte pays homage to the men and women, who have served our country with various military recognition programs:

      • Special Tributes: Memorial Day Ceremony (Last Monday of May) and Veterans Day Ceremony (November 11th)

Additionally, the City has a Patriotic Commission which handles all matters pertaining to patriotism and the civic recognition of both active and veteran military personnel. The Patriotic Commission meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month (unless noted)  at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 1415 Santa Anita Avenue, South El Monte, click here for upcoming meetings.
